Very earthy and barnyardy. Full-bodied, with soft tannins and a plummy, tomato aftertaste. A disappointment; this wine did not turn out as I had hoped. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.–1989 Bordeaux horizontal. Drink now. (JS)
